The short version: this website exists to tell you about Bloom Health & Metabolic Care. We never sell your information, and we never share information about your health with advertisers. We may use privacy-respecting analytics and advertising measurement to learn which of our outreach reaches people, as described in sections 4 and 5. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us, such as joining our email list, booking a visit, or writing to us.

This website (bloommetabolic.com) is operated by Bloom Health & Metabolic Care ("the clinic," "we"), a physician-led metabolic health clinic in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This policy explains how the website handles information about the people who visit it.
As a healthcare provider, the clinic is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The protected health information we hold about our patients is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you also receive as a patient, not by this policy. Our patient app is covered by its own separate privacy policy. This website is an informational one; it is not where you enter or receive health records.
There is no account to create and no login. You can read every page of this site without submitting any personal information.
We only receive personal information when you deliberately send it, through one of these actions:
Please do not send sensitive health details through email or the website; those channels are for general questions. Clinical matters are handled through the secure channels your care team provides.
We never share information about your health, your conditions, or whether you are a patient with any advertising or analytics partner, and we do not use any of these tools to make decisions about your care.
A few features are provided by outside companies. When you use those features, or when their content loads on a page, the provider receives the information needed to deliver it (which can include your IP address), under its own privacy policy:
Information you send through the website is used only to do the thing you asked for: to send the newsletter you requested, to schedule your visit, or to answer your message. The information collected automatically (section 4) is used to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising. We do not sell your information.
We share website information only with the service providers named above, which handle it on our behalf under their terms; with the advertising and analytics partners described in sections 4 and 5, limited to technical information about your visit and never information about your health; and with authorities when required by law. Any protected health information the clinic holds is shared only as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
The website is served entirely over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we work with established providers that maintain their own security programs. Because this is a public informational website, it is not the place where clinical records are exchanged.
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through the website.
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version at this address with a new effective date.
